Welcome to the Albert Vass Virtual Museum Complex

The site mainly consists of a collection of galleries housing various modes of artwork: oil paintings, photographs, digital art and virtual design. They all draw from each other in a synergistic form of pattern formation. The homepage is the virtual site-plan with which you can tour the complex. Some of the galleries are more detailed than others. The Arthroneum, for example, was created from a cd-rom of the same name. It is currently the most refined experience and houses oil paintings from 1988 to 1998. Each of the newer painting galleries are different in their interface and contain a variety of experiences. The Chromaneum houses a small sample of unaltered photographs. The complex itself is a display of endemically virtual architecture, however, the Morphoneum contains additional examples of this genre. These pages are intended to be a showcase of the work, and an experimental platform for virtual display projects. Currently, the site is intentionally designed for use without any special plugins, unless noted. Most of the newer galleries, however, do work better using version 4 or higher browers.

Eventually, the site will allow the purchase of reproductions of selected work. This will be an interactive experience, where you can browse the galleries and pick some work you might be interested in. At the end of your tour you will see a spreadsheet of your choices with different options. At that time you can decide to purchase a high quality reproduction in the scale of your choice. For now, I realize all the images contained in this site are easy to take. They are low quality jpg's that will result in poor quality prints. If you do decide to download any image and use it as graphic content or the like, I would appreciate it if you name the artist in its display and acknowledge its origin. Any links to this site would also be appreciated. If you have any questions or comments regarding the artwork or the site please don't hesitate to contact me.
