Like much of this site, The Labyrinths is conceived as a Borgesian construct. While its virtual mode may stretch the truth, it's form does not lie. The paintings it houses are also grounded in the "real world", yet are constantly trying to escape.
There is a playful relationship between inside and out. The portions exposed to the elements have dynamic access to water and an upper terrace, while the ones that are conditioned invite the visitor to explore relationships between spaces and the work.
